Naturally, project cars take a fair amount of time and planning. Then spend time over a number of days, months, or years, to rebuild the car in your vision. You could take an existing model that isn’t built or tuned to how you want it. But it doesn’t have to be a broken-down used car. You’d bring it back to its former glory, and maybe even customise it with some modern upgrades to tailor make the car to your specification, wants, and needs. For example, you could buy an old Ford Mustang that doesn’t run anymore, strip it down, fit new parts, fine tune it, and give it an engine swap to give it a new lease of life. ![]() Like the name suggests, a project car is one that becomes a project for you to work on. ![]()
